Master Instructor Certification
CHOOSE YOUR CAREER PATH…
Our Master Instructor Certification Program includes all the programs listed in the Grand Master Certification Program except for Yoga Fitness Instructor.
This program includes the includes the following 6 certifications:
- Group Fitness Instruction
- Personal Trainer
- Cardio Kick Boxing
- Water Aerobics
- Nutrition
- CPR
Group Fitness Instructor: Learn to teach group classes, including Body Sculpting, Strength & Core, Strip, Boot Camp, Group Personal Training and more. Proper cueing and calling is essential to a successful instructor which is emphasized and practiced throughout this entire 100+ hours of training. You'll learn at your own pace, as those with a dance or music background, have an easier time learning the beat and choreography. Tri-athletes who have never had to stay on a beat may need more time to master these techniques - but train easier during Strength & Conditioning phases.
Unlike one day or weekend certifications for Group Fitness, you'll become a "pro"… improving self confidence, rhythm and timing, cardio endurance, and more.
You'll train with supportive, energetic fitness enthusiasts, practicing together and supporting each other.
There are 5 levels of the course, which you work through at your own pace, including oral, written and practicals, drills, and testing.
Prepare yourself to be in the best shape of your life upon completion and certification.
Personal Trainer/Nutrition: This 14-week certification covers anatomy, physiology (in a non-threatening, easy learning atmosphere). Fitness assessments, weight room, program design, Nutrition, and more. To train the kind of client that can afford a Personal Trainer, you must be an expert in the field.
After 14 weeks of academic training and practical skills, you'll have the confidence and ability to train someone efficiently and make a difference in their lives.
This course prepares you to work as an independent Trainer, charging top dollar - and working for yourself…for the independent career-minded Personal Trainer.
Cardio Kick-Boxing Certification: A fun twist to the traditional Cardio class adding punching and kicking techniques to a calorie burning work-out.
Combined with Martial Arts, boxing and strength drills - you'll learn forms, punching and kicking techniques.
A Group Fitness Certification is a prerequisite so that the concentration of the 2-day certification is on kick-boxing techniques combined with proper cuing and calling.
Learn to teach a popular, fun, energy filled work-out.
Water Aerobics Certification: Learn to teach a Water Fitness class using water weights and other props to insure a fun yet challenging work-out.
You will have mastered cueing and calling in the Group Fitness Certification, so training time concentrates on water based exercises as opposed to land fitness.
Warm-up, Cardio, Sculpting, and cool-down are learned in the water (the shallow end!), and is a favorite to teach at condos and gyms.
(An entrepreneur type thinker will start classes at a park or condo - charging $4-5 per class, multiplied by 10 or more students = $40 to $50 per hour).
P.S. You do not have to be able to swim to teach a water fitness class!
Nutrition Consultant: You do not have to be a Nutritionist to be in the fitness industry, but everyone thinks you are…and will ask many questions.
This 3-week program (as part of the Personal Trainer Certification) will teach you the basics of good nutrition as it pertains to fitness.
Prescribing nutrition programs is not the goal. (You'll need a lot more education for that). But, to be able to answer basic questions is very important to your clients' success in achieving their goals.
Part of your grade is breaking down a meal you've prepared and brought in to share. You'll learn to break down calories (proteins, carbohydrates and fats), grams and intake, as well as figure out calories the client should consume to achieve goal weight.
CPR: CPR is included in most programs, as well as testing.
