LIVE HANDS-ON FITNESS TRAINING AND NATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Master Certified Personal Trainer Program (MCPT)
This in-depth 22 week/132+ hour program consists of eight training phases. Training phases include human anatomy & exercise physiology, cardiovascular endurance testing & program design, injury prevention & rehabilitation strategies, weight room fundamentals, modern nutrition & lifestyle management, portable equipment training, and much more.
Certified Personal Trainer Program (CPT)
The Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) course is a comprehensive 5 week/30 hour program. This program covers all modalities of physical fitness giving you the fundamental knowledge to start your professional fitness career. The CPT program includes 8 strategically designed instructional boot camp style workouts during the first 45 minutes of each class.
Group Fitness/Bootcamp Instructor Certification Program
The Group Fitness/Bootcamp Instructor Certification Program prepares aspiring instructors to safely and effectively lead various types of group fitness classes. Topics include cueing and calling, music selection, rhythmic warm-up and cool down, step fitness, core fitness, and specific boot camp class designs such as circuit training, functional training, and much more.
Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s)
WFA offers a variety of continuing education courses designed to further the education of currently certified fitness professionals. ACE, NASM and WFA personal trainers have the opportunity to earn their CEC's through live, hands-on instruction. Continuing Education Credits (CEC's) can be accrued to extend the validity of a trainers current certificate.
